ELCSS/S GENERAL CONVENTION
The Fourth General Convention was call on 1-5 August 2019, under the THEME: (Just the love for the generation to come) for our God is not the author of Confusion but of peace in all Churches of the Saints ( 1 Corinthians 14:13 and it was Chaired by Rt, Rev. Bishop Wilson Noah Rule.
The Fifth General Convention
The Fifth General Convention was call on 13-15 November 2025, under the THEME: then I heard the voice of the Lord saying ” Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? and I said here am I send me! Isaiah 6:8 and it was chaired by Rt, Rev. Bishop Ezra Bakoyogo Ngirimo.
The Constitution of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in South Sudan / Sudan is the supreme set of laws that legally represent the administration and mode of operations of the Church. They are the fundamental laws that govern how the Church is organized and how decision making is done throughout the different levels of its existence. This Constitution has been drawn in the Church’s General Assembly (2011) and later amended by the supreme authority of the Church, the General Convention (Article 9, section 4) in the years 2015 and 2019.
